Every organisation has a brand, our brand is not what we say about our organisation, its about what people feel and perceive about our organisation. A brand is the overall perception people have about your church, business or ministry.
You can have a great ministry, great church or fantastic product, but if your brand doesn’t communicate it, you’ll find making new connections an up hill struggle.
Our brand affects income, website traffic, visitor levels, momentum, profit margin, donations, participation, budgets, strategy, loyalty, recruitment, motivation … literally everything.
What is branding?
The intangible sum of a product or organisations attributes: its name, packaging, and price, its history, its reputation, its customer experience and the way it’s advertised.
What is marketing?
The all-embracing function that links the business with customer needs and wants in order to get the right product to the right place at the right time.
Great branding and communication builds connections….
These are some of the common questions I am asked…
- How can we Biblically market our church?
- How do we motivate people in church?
- Why are we not growing?
- I haven’t got a clue where we are going?
- Our church has a bad reputation, what do we do?
- Despite advertising why do people not visit our church?
- Our communication is poor, how can we fix it?
- Our visitor retention is really low, what can we do?
- We have a revolving door, why?
- How can we have greater impact?
- How can we best use social media?
If you asked any questions like these, we can work together to find the answers. My sphere of consulting works on communication, branding and marketing; how you are perceived.
